CARE MINISTRIES: 

LIFELINE: This ministry prepares meals, cards and care for those who are ill or mourning the death of a loved one.

 

NEW GUEST FOLLOW UP:  This ministry calls guests to follow up on their worship experience. 

 

PRAYER TEAMS:   The team that prays for and follows up on every specific prayer request that comes through the registration cards.  They coordinate all church prayer chains and prayer events.


CONNECT MINISTRIES:

ROCK GROUPS:   A small group system designed to foster relationships, discover spiritual gifts and promote growth.  The purpose is life change through group leadership and interaction.

CREATIVE ARTS:

DRAMA/DANCE:  Production of plays, musicals and human videos.

WORSHIP TEAM: A team of singers and musicians that helps to create an atmosphere where God is worshipped and praised.


CREATIVE COMMUNICATIONS:

AUDIO/VIDEO/LIGHTING TECHNICIANS:   A team who sets up and monitors the sound for music, human videos, announcement videos and speaking activities during services.

HIS HOUSE PUBLISHING:   This the publishing arm of The Rock Church to create sermon and music CDs, DVDs, books and curriculum.

EDUCATIONAL MINISTRIES: 

iROCK CLASSES: Qualified instructors are needed to help instruct the many classes that take place every weekend.

MAINTENANCE MINISTRIES: 

CLEANING MINISTRY:  This team is responsible for cleaning the buildings on a weekly basis.

BUILDING MAINTENANCE:

•    Volunteers to put out signs

 

OUTREACH MINISTRIES: 

FATHER’S HEART MINISTRY:  Father’s Heart Convalescent Ministry does monthly visits to a designated convalescent hospital to minister to and share God’s love with our senior citizens.

LOVE:  ACTIVE includes:
•    MORE THAN FOOD: Food distribution is made to those in need in the church and community. It takes many hands to pull off this ministry.
•    NEW 2 ME: During our monthly outreach, clothes that have been donated to the church are distributed to those in need.
•    ROCK KUTZ: Hair stylists give hair cuts.
•    KIDZ ROCK ON THE SIDEWALK: Ministry to children during Love: Active.
•    MEDICAL MISSIONS: Trained nurses and nursing aides do general medical check-ups.
•    COMMUNITY EVENTS:

WITH THESE HANDS, INC. includes: 
•    “WITH THESE HANDS” CREATIVE ARTS MENTORING PROGRAM:  A team of experienced musicians and vocalists providing individual and class instruction to under-served and special needs children.
•    STUDY GROUPS:  A team of tutors, assisting students of all ages with study skills and homework assistance.
•    KIDZ MUSICAL PRODUCTIONS:  A team of experienced teachers in drama, dance, and voice to produce musical showcases for children.
•    COMMUNITY EVENTS:

SERVICE MINISTRIES: 

HOSPITALITY TEAM (Ushers/Greeters/Hosts/Parking Lot):  The team that warmly greets everyone with a handshake and a smile.  Greeters – entrances

•    Brochure/Info coordinator

 

KIDZ ROCK:  Training up our children in the way they should go.

IMPACT YOUTH:   Youth from 6th grade through high school meet every Wednesday night for fellowship, Bible Study and other activities.

YOUNG ADULTS:  Many volunteers are needed to assist to make this vibrant ministry effective. This ministry is for people aged 18-28.

SPANISH MINISTRY:  Many volunteers are needed to assist to make this ministry effective.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY:   A team of volunteers who help create an atmosphere of worship, a great Bible study, insightful "table talk" with other ladies and occasional craft workshops.
